Description

We are looking for a dedicated Junior Software Developer to join our team in Urbandale, Iowa. In this role, you will be responsible for creating both server-side and dynamic web applications using Node.js and HTML/CSS/HTTP. This position will require you to work with a variety of programming languages and related frameworks, primarily JavaScript/TypeScript, and manage code versioning and repository using GIT.

Responsibilities:

• Develop backend applications using Node.js

• Design dynamic web applications using HTML/CSS/HTTP

• Use JavaScript/TypeScript for various tasks in Node.js, React, and React-Native for mobile development

• Understand and work with HTTP based APIs

• Use GIT for code versioning and repository management

• Work with Azure DevOps for CI pipeline and ticketing systems

• Gain some mobile experience in Native iOS or Android (React Native, Swift, Kotlin)

• Develop an interest and understanding of AI, machine learning

• Have an interest in Agriculture

• Use PowerShell for various tasks in product development

• Manage applications hosted on Azure cloud

Skills:

• Backend Development

• Database management

• API Development

• Proficiency in JavaScript and Angular

• Familiarity with React

Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Backend Development

• Familiarity with Database management and operations

• Proven experience in API Development

• Proficiency in JavaScript programming language

• Experience working with Angular framework

• Proficiency in React library for building user interfaces

• Minimum of one year of experience in a Software Development role

• Excellent problem-solving abilities

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

• A proactive approach to learning new technologies and updating technical skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards long-term goals

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
