We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist to join our Corporate IT Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data from our business systems into meaningful insights.  The work you do will enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.  You’ll work closely with the executive team and department leaders delivering them the information they need to ensure we keep our business operating smoothly and that we are able to grow at our desired pace.

Role and Responsibilities

• Create reports, visualizations, dashboards, and metrics that provide business insight and aid business decision-making.

• Identify data-driven strategies to improve our company’s processes

• Build relationships and collaborate with department leaders to better understand valuable objectives and KPIs 

• Perform meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses to address business issues or answer questions.

• Provide training and documentation for reports / dashboards

• Provide support for existing reports / dashboards

• Manage platform licenses and user access

• Stay up to date with changes to our chosen BI technology platform

  Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years experience as a business analyst or similar role 

• Minimum 3-5 years exporting data and analyzing outside of the CRM or data repository.

• Excel and data preparation expert, this job requires someone with heavy experience in building custom data to display in charts, graphs, tables

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience

  Preferred Experience

• Experience with Business Intelligence platforms like Tableau

• Experience with CRM reporting

• Experience with MySQL, MS-SQL, Postgres and using SQL to gain data insights

• You are an expert in Excel and other data organization tools

• You are a self-starter and need minimal supervision to do well with your responsibilities

  Salary Range

  Total Compensation range (based on experience): $75,000 - $90,000
